Last year, on a lovely afternoon, just at the beginning of the summer's heatwave, visitors to Oxhey Open Gardens basked in the sun, but escaped the oppressive heat to enjoy the usual great selection of different gardens all around the village! There was also a chance to buy some plants and enjoy teas and delicious home-made cakes. Together, we raised a magnificent £3,556 for Peace Hospice Care and would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported us, either by opening their garden or visiting and donating so generously. We are looking forward to seeing you all again on 23rd June 2019.

Oxhey Open Gardens is an annual event, showcasing creative, inspiring village gardens to enthusiastic gardeners and visitors. Every year we raise a substantial amount of money for charity; over the years we have raised more than £24,500 for Peace Hospice Care in Watford.

All the gardens are within easy walking distance of the starting points where you will receive a booklet with a map and full details of the open gardens and tea stops.
